Inspire for ALM: Roadmap and Vision

While additive layer manufacturing (ALM) methods have introduced new possibilities for product design, current design practices are still predominantly oriented toward traditional manufacturing methods.  And while the possibilities of ALM are exciting, they are not unbounded; additive methods have their own set of practical constraints and limitations.  In this session, James Dagg will present recent developments in design and optimization for additive manufacturing and will outline key challenges that are being addressed in the next few years.
